About the Super Fish:
The Super Fish is one of the most popular boards in the GSI range and continues to win converts worldwide. The reason for the Super Fish's success is that it blends high performance surfing with wave catching ability. The step deck design is the magic element.

The step deck gives the board lots of volume under your chest for buoyancy and the low volume rails allow you to really dig deep when you turn, as if you were riding a performance shortboard. It is the best of both worlds. Paddle power and performance.

The Super Fish also has the optional tri/quad fin setup and comes with all five fins so you can ride it either way. This is one of the most fun designs ever shaped and it comes in a size range for every surfer.

    • TRADITIONAL POLYESTER OR PU TECHNOLOGY
      Polyester or PU construction uses traditional materials and laminating techniques to produce a strong, reliable surfboard with high quality finishes. All polyester boards are CNC milled from the shapers files and laminated by hand using quality components such as Hexcel fiberglass, Silmar resin and Bennett foam.
      For years traditional polyester boards have been at the forefront of performance surfing. These boards feature a progressive flex pattern controlled by a high-grade timber stringer and feel very reliable under your feet. Polyester construction will perform in all surf conditions and can be adapted to suit a wide variety of surfboard models.

I bought this board in a 5'6". This is my absolute go-to board for EVERYTHING! I wanted a board that allowed me to get into the waves earlier to allow time for a decent bottom turn and positioning. The quad fin setup is my favorite. It keeps the tail loose and responsive. The step rail is probably the best idea ever. I can set rail hard and fast and allows the board to ride like my best performance board. I am bummed it's no longer offered in a 5'6". I would buy a second one if it were offered again. I would possibly even opt for a 5'4" at this point. Super fun board and never disappoints!! Everything from 2 ft mushy junk to overhead glassy barrels, this board wins!

This 7"3" board catches waves easily and feels much smaller that it is on the wave. The step rails work unreal in Hawaiian surf. It has been working great in a wide variety of surf and seems to have no limits. Extra paddle power with high performance control, just what I was looking for. I really like the quad fin setup on this board making it drive and project down the line fast and still be really loose and responsive. I has a positive feel with extra holding power when the waves get hollow. It is a very cool concept that works well. Also I am a Sea Shepherd fan...
