The great all-rounder, this board will handle a wide variety of wave size and rider ability – a board for all conditions. Can be ridden with either a traditional approach – trimming and nose-riding, or a performance approach off the tail.

      SLX construction produces a controlled flex pattern by combining the versatility of epoxy materials with the added advantage of reduced weight. All SLX boards have an EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, which is laminated by hand using epoxy resign, biaxial fiberglass and a specialized construction process.
      Featuring a high strength-to-weigh ratio, and designs CNC milled directly from the shapers files. SLX boards feel light, responsive and are very sensitive under your feet. These boards are extremely versatile, easy to ride, and can be used in wide variety of conditions.

I've surfed at least 6 different longboard shapes, and this one is my favorite by far. Great paddle, like having an extra gear when I need it over other similar-sized shapes. Plenty stable, and it turns seemingly just by thinking about it. I'm an intermediate surfer, and I can make this board go where ever I need to, quickly enough so I don't get behind waves. I surf it as a single fin with just the tailfin that came with it. I might try some different fin shapes and sizes, just for fun, but I love the way it surfs as is!

Awesome board, suits my style of surfing. I changed the fishhook fin to a hydrofoil dolphin cut 9" to give me more drive off the bottom turn,anyway it works for me.Surprisingly quick, the more hollow the wave the better it goes,cheers kiwi.
